Injury Free

Hello everyone, it has been a very long time since I have been blogging but I am back now. I have great news I am finally fully recovered from my ankle injury and I couldn’t be more happier. During the 3 months I must say it was not easy. I had to miss out on many activities such as not participating in my last month of gym class with my friends, the athletic banquet, and many races that I had in mind of taking part it was not going to happen.

Although I was injured during these three months I still found a way to incorporate some working out. Since I was unable to do any cardio I mainly just focused on weight training every other day. This helped me to stay positive because I will still getting the chance to do what I love working out!

Now that I am fully recovered I have started running again and taking it one day at a time. Of course I understand that I will not be the same runner as before and it will take time to build up to that but for now all I am thankful for is being able to run again. I have always loved to run and never will stop loving it.

If I had any advice to give to someone who has been injured and can’t do any cardio, I would let them know that things will get better you just got to have a positive mindset and believe that you will get better because in life things will not always be perfect, sometimes you just have to accept it and keep your head up and just keep smiling each day!
